This 1932 NSU 500 OS is 1 of 2183 made. They did not make very many of this bike and so this is indeed a true and rare 500 OS. The bike is a running motorcycle and it is unrestored. The motor will start up and run. I have not drove the bike but it does run. It is very original with mostly correct parts on the bike. The motorcycle will require a full restoration and will need attention in all areas but this is a great foundation to build a nice machine. Included in the purchase price is the original rear braking plate and some misc items. The motorcycles frame is in good shape and the fenders are straight. The mufflers are in good clean shape and one of the pipes has a crack in it which can be welded and repaired. The gas tank is clean and appears to be very straight.The head light is an original BOSCH light with the original lens. The rear tail light is a BOSCH JN5 and it is original. The bike has the original data plate and is correct for the bike. The motor is in very good shape and no broken fins on the cylinder. The seat is brand new and will need to be mounted to the frame. The overall appearence of the bike is very good and not thrashed on. This bike came from Poland and seems to have surrived being destroyed over the years. A great buy and its here in California.
